By letter dated December 13, 1995, you applied for an amendment to the ' Wolf' '

Creek Generating Station Facility Operating License No. NPF-42. The proposed.

change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining.to the temperature requirement for the performance of the control rod drop . test '

(Surveillance Requirement 4.1.3.1.3). Subsequently, by letter dated December 12, 1996, you withdrew the amendment request.
