We have completed our review of the additional information pertaining to the Catawba Nuclear Station (Unit 2) Storage and In-Transit Security Plan dated April 26, 1985, which you submitted as Attachment 1 to your letter dated June 19, 1935. We have concluded that the additional information satisfactorily addresses the concerns as expressed in our June 6, 1985 letter.
Thus, based on our overall evaluation, we have detennined that your Plan meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.67 for fixed site and in-transit protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance.
Accordingly, your Plan as identified above (including the clarifying informa-tion contained in Attachment 1 of your June 19, 1985 letter) is hereby approved and must be fully implemented, including any changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 70.32(e), by the date of fuel receipt.
We have determined that Attachment 1 (including its associated Enclosures 1,.
2 and 3) contains information of the type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d).
Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.790(d)(1), such information is deemed to be commercial or financial within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(2)(4) and shall be withheld from public disclosure unless subject to the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12 Sincerely, Willard B.
