Gentlemen:
The Board's " Memorandum and Order (Motion to Reopen Record)" of May 28, 1985 included a request that Applicants provide a memorandum concerning the placement, operation, and safety parameters of the check valves used in the lube oil system of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant
(" Perry") diesel generators.
The Board also requested information on the inspection and maintenance program imposed in connection with their use.
Applicants have provided this information in the accompanying affidavit of Edward C. Christiansen.
