Safety Evaluation Regarding Generic Letter 83-28, Item 1.1 (Post-Trip Review), Mcguire Nuclear Station By letter dated November 4,1983, you responded to Generic Letter 83-28 with regard to required actions based on generic implications of Salem ATWS events.
The enclosed Safety Evaluation was prepared by the NRC based upon input from our contractor, Science Applications International Corporation (SAI), after having reviewed the applicable portions of your response to Generic letter 83-28.
Based on this review, we conclude that your Post-Trip Review Program and Pro-cedures for McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, are acceptable.
This completes our action on Item 1.1 of Generic Letter 83-28.
