applicant representatives to review the safety areas requiring, in the staff's opinion, further documentation. During the first meeting .

- the staff revealed the questions.resulting from the review of the Manticello Facility Description and Safety Analysis Report.- At the. i second meeting the applicant's interpretation of these same questions-and possible_ responses to the questions were discussed. On the basis i of the understandings reached at those two meetings G. E. and NSP ,

will proceed te develop written responses expecting that our written questions will be released in the very near future and will essentially l be related to the subjects discussed at the meetings.
