- On February 19 - 22, 1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC License No. SNM-1107 for your Columbia facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with 'those members of your staff identified in the

enclosed inspection report.
JAreas examined during.the inspection are identified in the report. Within these s
areas, the. inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities
'in progress.
The inspection - findings indicate that certain activities -violated NRC require-
.ments. The violations, references to pertinent requirements, and elements to be included in your response ate presented in the enclosed Notice of Violation'.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy -of this letter, .its enclosures, and
.your reply will be placed in NRC's Public Document Room upon completion of our evaluation of. the reply. If you wish to withhold information contained therein,
