7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-301 WISCCNSIN ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY NOTICE CF ISSUAt'CE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear 0.egulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued A endment No. 53 to Facility Operating License No. CFR-27 issued to Wisconsin Electric Pcwer Company (the licensee), wnich revised Technical Specifications for cperation of Doint Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit No. 2 (the facility) Iccated in the Town of Two Creeks, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.
The amendment is effective as cf the date of issuance.
The amend ant consists of changes to the Technical Specifications tc alica a one-time waiver of the recuirement for monthly functional tests cf the turbine step and governce.alves until :ne start of tne seventh refueling outage.
The acclication f - the amendrent com lies with the standards and recuirements of :ne Ato-ic Energy Act of 1952, as amended (the Act), and tne Commissicn's rules and regulaticns. The Commission has tade appropriate fincings as required by the Act and the Co-.i ssion's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior public notice of this amendment was not recuire'i since the amendment does not involve a significant hacards siderat'On.
