Dear Mr. Ippolito:
This letter is to confirm that computer code listings for the UE&C-ADLPIPE-2 seismic reanalysis of main steam and four SRV discharge lines for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP) Unit Nos. 1 and 2 were transmitted under separate cover to Mr. Mark Hartzman of the NRC on March 17, 1980.
This information updates the seismic (OBE) piping stress analysis for the main steam and relief valve piping of Line B, Isometric Sheet Nos. 15, 121, 122, 125, and 237 (these isometrics were also sent to Mr. Hartzman). This infor-mation includes (1) corrected elbow radius referred to as Problem 1, (2) straight piping runs substituted for large radius bends referred to as Problem 2, (3) eccentricity of motor operator on Main Steam Isolation valve No. F022B, and (4) acceptance review of field inspection as-built comments.
These computer printouts update the listings previously provided to the NRC, and they contain 10CFR2.790 proprietary information. The necessary information in this regard is contained in the affidavits attached to CP&L's May 4, 1979 letter, Serial No. GD-79-1192 and executed by Mr. Richard T. Murphy of A. D. Little, Inc. and by Mr. Harry G. Kreider of UE&C.
CP&L requests that these computer listings be determined to be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.790.
