This is'to confirm the December _14, 1984 telephone conversation between Mr. N. J. Chiangi (CP&L) and Mr. _D. Varelli. Mr. Varelli was informed that the November 15, 1984 potentially reportable item, pertainlag to the weld deficiencies identified in the Westinghouse supplied accumulator tanks, has been evaluated and considered not -to be reportable per the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e) and 10CFR, Part 21.
