DOCKET NO: 50 369 UNIT: McGuire i DATE: 7/13/92 NARRATIVE SUMPARY MONTH: June 1992 McGuire Unit 1 began the mor.th ot' June in a steam generator inspection outage. The unit was placed on line at 0819 on 6/18. During power esculation, tne unit held at 306 power from 1245 to 1530 for foodsater chemistry and nuclear instrumentation calibrations. The unit held at 604 power from 2127 to 2312 for nucicar instrumentation calibrations.

The unit held at 864 power from 6/?9 at 0151 to 0252 for nuclear instrumentation calibrations. The t. nit held at 93% from 0330 to 0358 due to the quadrant power tilt ratio being out of specification. The unit held at 984 power from 0603 to 0900 for nuclear instrumentation calibrations. The unit reached 100% full power at 1044. On 6/25 at 1313 the unit experienced a reactor / turbine trip on a solid state protection system alarm when a fused was rcmoved. The unit was pieced on line on 6/26 at 1023, During power esculation the unit held at 30%

power from 1240 to 2020 for feodwater chemistry and at 904 power from 6/27 at 0345 to 0430 for nuclear instrumentation calibraticns, The unit reached 100% full power at 0850. The unit operated at or near 100% for the remainder of the month.

SUMMARY

f HONTit: June 1992 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of June in a steam generator inspection cutage. The unit was placed on-line on 6/25 at 1400 During power esculation, the unit held at 30% power from 1805 to 2239 for feodwater chemistry. The unit held at 65% power from 6/26 at 0620 to 0645 for nuclear instrumentation calibrations and at 896 power from 1005 to 1145 for nuclear instrumentation calibrations. The unit reach 100% full power at 1640. The unit operated at or near 1.00% for the remainder of the month.
