P ATTACHMENT 3 NRC 00CfETS 50-321, 50-366 OPERATING LICENSES DPR-57, NPF-5 EDWIN I. HATCH. NUCLEAR. PLANT UNITS 1, 2 REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGES TO ACCOMMODATE-NRC RULEMAfING As reauired by 10 CFR 50.92, a significant hazards evaluation for the proposed change to the Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications is presented below:
Delete subsection 6.15.1.
BASIS:
The requirement for completion of environmental aualification of electrical equipment by June 30, 1982 contained in this subsection was suspended by 10 CFR 50.49 which was issued on that same date.
Therefore, this change is consistent with item (vii) of the " Examples of Amendments That Are Considered Not Likely To Involve Significant Hazards Considerations" listed on page 14870 of April 6,
1983 issue of the Federal Register, in that it is proposed to make the operating license conform with changes in the regulations and it would have minimal effect on facility operations.
