NIAGARA M0 HAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT - UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50-410 Interim Report for a Problem Concerning Check Valves (55(e)-84-38)
Description of the Problem The problem pertains to the check valves supplied by Anchor Darling Valve Company.
During a review of the certified material test reports it was discovered that impact test data was not recorded for various components (gasket retaining ring, seat ring, disc) of the subject valves.
The valves
-are located in various safety-related systems (feedwater, residual heat removal, low pressure core spray, high pressure core spray, and reactor core isolation cooling).
This condition has been documented on 'Nonconformance and Disposition Report hos. Z099 and Z100 The matter is still under investigation and a final report will be submitted by January 21, 1985.
