APPLICATION FOR AMENDN8NT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Sectic,n 50.90 of the Regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, holder of Facility Operating License No. NPF-69, hereby requests that Sections 1.31 " Primary Containment Integrity", 3/4.6.1 " Primary Containment", 3/4.6.3 " Primary Containment Isolation Valves" and Bases, 3/4.8.4 " Electrical Lquipment Protective Devices"..and associated Tables 3.6.3-1, 3.8 4.1-1 and 3.8.4.3-1 as set forth in Appendix A to that License be amended.
All refecences citing these tables throughout the Technical Specifications Index, Definitions, Limiting Conditions for' Operation, Surveillance Requirements and Bases are also proposed to be amended.
The proposed changes have been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Techr.ical Specifications.
The proposed changes t-the Technical Specifications are set forth in Attachment A to this Application. The changes remove various component lists and references thereto from Technical Specifications in accordance with Generic Letter 91-08.
The proposed changes vould not authorize any change in the' types of effluents or in the authorized power level of the facility.
Supporting information and an analysis which demonstrates that the. proposed changes involve no significant-hazards consideration pursuant to'10CFR50.92 are included as Attachment B.
Wherefore, Applicant respectfully requests that Appendix A to Facility Operating License No. NPF-69 be amended in the form attached hereto as Attachment A.
