-Re Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 NPF-69 Gentlemen:
Niagara Mohawk Power Corptration hereby transmits an Application for Amendment to Nine Mile Point Unit 2 (NMP2) Operating License NPF-69.
Also enclosed is the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications set forth in A to.the above-mentioned license.
Supporting information and analyses demonstrating that-the proposed changes involve no significant hazards consideration pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 are included as Attachment B.
This submittal replaces the amendment request submitted to the Commission on November 16, 1991. The changes contained herein are to incorporate comments provided by'NRC staff.
.The proposed changes are to Technical Specification Sections 1.31 " Primary Containment Integrity", 3/4.6.1 " Primary Containment", 3/4.6.3 "Primrry Containment Isolation Valves" and Bases, 3/4.8.4 " Electrical' Equipment Protective Devices", and associated Tables 3.6.3-1,'3.8.4.1-1 and 3.8.4.3-1.

'and all. references thereto from the Technical Specifications.Index, Definitior.s, Limiting Conditions for Operation, Surveillance Requirements and Bases in accordance with Generic Letter 91-08.
p These proposed changes have no safety or environmental significance. The basis for concluding that this request does not involve a significant hazards consideration is included as-Attachment B of our application.
L Plant modifications scheduled for the NMP2 refuel outage vill require revision of component' designations presently described in Table 3.8.4.3-1.

'Hohawk' requests that this amendment be processed by March 1992. This vould allow this single amendment submittal to incorporate revisions required by the scheduled modifications and implementation of Generic Letter 91-08.
