Interim Report for a Problem Concerning the Main Steam Isolation Valves (55(e)-84-23)
Problem Description During a review of documentation, it was observed that the certified material test reports (CMTRs) provided by the valve manufacturer do not document the test coupon heat treatment duration and temperature as required by ASME Section III, NB-2211. Further inquiry revealed that the heat treatment of the test coupons was not performed. A final report will be issued by October 14, 1984.
