'20555 Re Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 NPF-69 Centlement Hingara Hohawk Power Corporation hereby transmits an Application for Amendment to Nine Mile Point Unit 2 (NMP2) Operating License NPF-69. Also enclosed to the proposed changen to the Technical Specifications set forth in A to the above-mentioned license.
Supporting information and anal:tses der:onstrating that the proposed changes involve no significant hazards aonsideration pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 are included as Attachment B.
The proposed changes are to Technit.al Specification Sections 1.31 " Primary Containment Integrity", 3/4.6.1 " Primary Containment", 3/4.6.3 " Primary j
containment Isolation Valves" and bases, 3/4.7.2 " Revetment-Ditch Structured, 3/4.8.4 " Electrical Equipment Protective Devices", and associated Tables l
3.6.3-1, 3.7.2-1, 3.8.4. b1 and 3.8.4.3-1.
The net result of these proposed changes vill be to remove the above tables and all references thereto from the Technical Specifications Index, Definitions, Limiting conditions for Operation, Surveillance Requirements and Bases in accordance with Generic Letter 91-08.
These proposed changes have no saf,ty or environmental significance.
The basis for concluding that this request does not involve a significant hazards consideratic,is included as Attachment B of our application.
l Niagara Mohawk requests that this amendment be processed by February 1992, to
. allow various Technical Specification component designation changes during the NMP2 1992 Refaeling Outage without the need to submit additional Technical Specification amendment reque.sts for those changes.
