SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE September 1991, ne unit began the month at 100% powcr (R30 MWe).

Power was reduced to 94% (790 MWe) from 0520 to 1440 on September 22 to perform testing on the Auxiliary Feedwater (AFW) System.

Power was reduced to 93% (770 MWe) at 0520 on September 29 to perform AFW testing and clean Main Condenser 11 and 13 waterboxes. Return to full power was delayed due to the failure of 13A Waterbox Inlet MOV.

The unit ended the month at 93% power (760 MWe).

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE September 1991 The unit began the month at 100% power (830 MWe).

Power was reduca.1 to 93% (755 MWe) fiom 0210 to 0535 on September 20 to investigate clogging of 23A Amertap.

Power was reduced to 88% (720 MWe) nt 0400 on September 21 to test Main Turbine Control Valves and clean Main Condenser waterboxes. Power was further reduced to 8(We (W) MWe) at 0610 due to the failure of 21 Moisture Separator Reheater Reheat Stop Valve (20RL) to reopen following valve testing. The test solenoid valve for 20RL.wr.s replaced to correct the problem and power was returned to 88% (720 MWe) at 2210. 'the unit returned to full power (830 MWe) at 2020 on September 22.

Pcwer was reduced to 88% (730 MWe) from 0630 to 1725 on Septemh r 29 for Auxiliary Feedwater testing.

The unit ended the month nt 100% power (835 MWe),
