DOCKET No. 50-261 LICENSE DPR-23
Dear Mr. Skovholt:
This letter is to inform you of the status of the re-evaluation of the stress analyses of safety and relief valve installations important to the nuclear safety of the H. B. Robinson Plant as requested by Mr. John G. Davis in his letter of April 21, 1972.
As W. S. Hogan explained in a telephone conversation with Mr. Schemel (May 11, 1972), Westinghouse is working on the problem and will supply guide-lines of a general, generic nature to facilitate these re-evaluations. West-M inghouse will require a minimum of two weeks to develop this information.
This means, of course, that our response to Mr. Davis' request will be dcicyed accordingly.
Since }k. Schemel raised no objections to this delay, we will assume it to be acceptable unless we hear otherwise.
'Yours very truly, E. E. Utley Manager 6 il/
