The purpose of this letter is to pro tido you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.B.1.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence. 'Taile doing routine surveillance calibration of the main steam line hich flou switches, two of them, FS-1-261-2/dK, were found to trip at '11 and 112 psid respectively.

The tech spec 140 is 6109 paid (f 120l5 of rated flew). The "A" switch is on the "A" steam line and the "K" switch is on the "C" line.

The Primary Containment Isolation trip systen would have perforced its intended function if it were needed.

This occurrence was discussed by telephone with I'r. C. Feierabend of your office on ?!ovember o, 1974 Purther information will be provided by Abnornal Occurrence Report A0 50-254/74-36 which uill be ,

submitted within 10 days of the date of this occurrence.
