Dear Mr. Keppler:

The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of en Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.B.I.a within 211 hours0.00244 days <br />0.0586 hours <br />3.488757e-4 weeks <br />8.02855e-5 months <br /> of the occurrence.

With Unit 2 in the cold shutdown condition for the current refueling outage, HPCI steam exhaust check 2-2301-15 was leak rate tested. The leak rate was 1

J- 72.2 SCFH which is greater than the Technical. Specification liraitation of 18.36 SCFH.

In accordance with our previous reporting agreement of Aprili l, 1971, this 6

. notification also fulf11is the Ten Day Reporting Requircment of Technical  :

Specification 6.6.B.I.B. Details of repairs necessary to correct these deficiencies will be reported at a later date when the work is complete.

This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Feierabend of your office on January 3, 1975 Further information will be provided by Abnormal Occur-rence Report A0 50-265/75-1.
