Re: Docket Number 50-220 Provisional Operating Licence DPR-17 You vill recall that part of the program contained in a special report dated May 10, 1970, to restore Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station to service, was a conplctc inspection of tha safc-endo at the end of or during the firct year of cperation follouing the start-up.
The inspcoticn uas expleted and ue are happy to report that no ncu relevant indicaticne ucre detected that vould indicate progressicn of the previcus probicm.
Under separate cover oc are sending you forty (40) copies of a report entitled " Reactor Primary System Integrity Inscectiona".
Included is not only the summary and data partinant to cafe-and inspectione, but alco information on pipe movements and primary system leakage detection methods and experience.
On the basis of our experience dia'ing the period, we have re-evaluated the program and included the revisions we expect to make in it.
