Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you uith notification of the above referenced Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.8.1.c within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.

Abnorraal Occurrence Rerort A0 50-265/74-13 on July 10, 1974, the switch failed to actuate. After being lightly tapped by the instrument nochanic, the switch operated satisfactorily six tires.
Considering the possibility that the ucenetic trip mechanism was r.iiscligned, the mechanisa was disassembled and re-aligned. The switch will continue to uc functionally tested on a weekly basis until the new level switch that is orcered is received cnd installed.
This occurrence was discussed with Mr. C. Feierabend of your of fice on July 11, 1974,'of telephone.
