This is to. confirm the December 8, 1983 telephone conversation between Mr. N.' J. Chiangi (CP&L) and Mr. P. Bemis (NRC).
Mr. Bemis was informed that the November -21,1983 potentially reportable item, pertaining to a possible violation of minimum wall thickness on a valve (3CX-W16-5A-1) manufactured by ITT Hanunel Dahl Company, has been evaluated and considered not to be reportable per the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e) and 10CFR, Part 21.
