This is to confirm the December 2, 1983 telephone conversation between Mr. N. J. Chicngi (CP&L) and Mr. A. Hardin (NRC).
Mr. A. Hardin was informed that the November 21, 1983 potentially reportable item, pertaining to violation of minimum wall thickness during field welding on the shell outlet of a fuel pool heat exchanger, has been evaluated and considered not to be reportable per the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
