Peterson TELEPHONE 414-755-2321, Extension 361 UnLt 1 operated at approximately 449 MWe not throughout this report period, with two significant load reductions and one turbine runback.
During this time period, Unit 1 experienced one reportable event described in LER 91-013, Nuclear Instrumentation Turbine Runback Caused by a Voltage Spike on Power Range Channel N44.
Safety-related maintenance included the following:
Tightened two fittings and repressurized E-28 penetration to 15 psig, repaired bistable in the over-temperature rod stop alarm, replaced card for _ inputs to both thtlt 1 and Unit 2 rod bank step counters, raised regulator setting on excess letdown heat exchanger shell side outlet valve to preferred setting of 50 psi to meet requirements of timed valve stroke, cleaned and replaced operator seals and air cylinder seals on both main steam isolation valve (MSIV) operating cylinders, and replaced N-44 power range detector.

LER 91-001, Failure of Main Steam' Isolation Valves To Close, was issued as a result of the MSIV failure event on September 29, 1991.
During this period, Unit 2 experienced three reportable events:
LER 91-002, Steam Generator Tube Degradation; LER 91-003, Containment flatch Temporary Third' Door Blocked Open During Fuel Movement; and LER 91-004, Containment Isolation Valve Leakage in j
Excess of Technical-Specification Limits.
Safety-related maintenance included the following:
Performed wire rerouting and channel separation for subcooling meter selector switches and indicating lights; replaced variable adjust pot and lamp assembly-on N-36, the intermediate range detector
. channel; replaced bistable indicating module for Loops A and B low - reactor coolant flow indication; replaced I/P and regulators on residual heat removal heat exchanger outlet. flow controls; replaced status light module for pressurizer high/ low level bistable; and replaced valve disc on refueling water storage tank outlet to safety injection pump suction and residual heat removal pump suction.
