This is to confirm the October 28, 1983 telephone conversation between Mr. K. V. Hate' (CP&L) and Mr. A. Hardin (NRC).
Mr. Hardin was informed that the April 8, 1983 potentially reportable item, pertaining to weld deficiencies that were detected during receipt inspection of Class IE motor control centers' supplied by ITE Gould, has been evaluated and considered to be not reportable per the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e) and 10CFR, Part 21.
