1 Observation at Yorktown Police Station 3:00-5:30 Barbara Lane At 3:30 there was a test of the radio.
At 4:35 the department shift change went into effect.
There was a lot of laughter and general commenting to the effect that thir.gs went well, they were busy earlier in the day, and there was a lot of confusion.
"As confusing as hell" said one officer.
They were unable to get through to monitor the school bus situation.
Around 5 o' clock there was an announcement that the drill was over.
There was no answer at Lakeland and Yorktown schools, when calls were made to tell them that the drill was over.
During the period from 3:00-5:30, almost nothing happened relating to the exercise.
