Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed are three (3) originals and forty (40) copies of Technical Specification Change Request No. 82 requesting amendment to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-72. As part of this request, proposed replacement pages are enclosed.
This change request includes the following Cycle V related Technical Specifications:
A.
Operation with Reactor Coolant Pump Power Monitors (BAW-1767).
B.
Operation without Reactor Coolant Pump Power Monitors.
C.
NUREG-0737 Required Technical Specifications.
D.
Two Year Cycle Impact.
E.
Miscellaneous Shutdown Related Technical Specifications.
Attachments B, C and E will be submitted at a later date.
Due to the size and complexity of this submittal, several pages are enclosed in more than one Attachment and have different requested changes. Each of these changes are independent and thus can be approved separately or as a whole.
All of the changes to the Technical Specifications are marked by change bars.
Florida Power Corporation considers Technical Specification Change Request No. 82 to be a Class VI Amendment per 10 CFR 170.22 as it involves more than one safety issue. Accordingly, a check for twelve thousand, three hundred dollars ($12,300)is enclosed.
