OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE March 1991 1

The unit began the month at 100% power (855 We),

l Power was reduced to 96% (820 We) from 2215 on March 21 to 0115 on March 23 to repair leaks on 11B Condenser waterbox, Power was reduced to 83% (715 We) from 2230 on March 27 to 1300 on March 28 to clean 11A-Condenser waterbox and test the Main Turbine control valves.

Powet was reduced to 92% (760 We) from 0520 to 1550 on March 29 to troubleshoot and repair the Main Generator losd set circuit.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE March _JSS1 The unit began the month in a continued shutdown for the 8th Cycle Refueling Outage.

Maintenance and Surveillance Test Procedures continued in prepatation for plant heatup and reactor startup.

Reactor Coolant System heatup was commenced and hot shutdown (Mode 4) was entered on March 30.

The unit is schedulad to return to service on April 13, 1991.

Reload fuel is similar to the reload fuel inserted into the previous cycle except for the 4.3% enrichment, debris resistant fuel design, and four fuel assemblies containing an alternative burnable absorber.

Chances have been made to the on line incore monitoring program.
