SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES Highlights Vermont Yankee operated at98.69% of rated thermal power for the month.

Gross electrical generation was 386,048 MWH, or 99.29%of design electrical capacity.

Operating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent itema of interest for the month:

At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was operating at 99.8% of rated thermal power.

821115 At 0015 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for a control rod pattern adjustment and turbine surveillance.

821115 At 0230 hrs a return to full power started.

821121 At 0030 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for a control rod and turbine generator surveillance.

821121 At 0105 hrs. a return to full power was started.

821128 At 0030 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for a control rod pattern adjustment and turbine surveillance.

821128 At 0140 hrs, a return to full power was started.

i At the end of the reporting period the plant was generating at 99.9% of rated thermal power.
