r CAROLINA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY ENVIRONMENTAL REPORT BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT Docket Nos. 50-324 and 50-325 Amendment No. 6 This h ndment designated as Amendment No. 6 to the Environmental Report transmits additional information in support of the Environmental Re-port of the Applicant's Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Units 1 and 2.
The Amendment contains supplemental information concerning the cost benefit evaluation of the transmission line towers for the Cape Fear River crossing which was conducted in 1971.
7 The Amendment is in the form of page changes and insertions to the Environmental Report, and the accompanying Instruction Sheet explains the insertion of the contents of the Amendment into the Environmental Report.

The updated information is submitted in the form of revised pages.
Each revised page bears the notation " Environmental Report, Amendment No. 6" at the bottom of the page. Vertical bars have been used in the margins of the revised pages to indicate the location of the revision on the page.
After all the revised material has been added to the Environmental Report, place the Amendment No. 6 Transmittal Letter, Amendment No. 6 Certi-fication, and Instruction Sheet at the back of the contents of the Environ-mental Report.
