CAROLINA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY n ENVIRONMENTAL REPORT BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT Docket Nos. 50-324 and 50-325 Amendment No. 1 The above entitled Environmental Report is hereby amended as follows:

This Amendment designated as Amendment No. I to the Environmental Report transmits additional information in support of the Environmental Report of the Applicant's Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Units 1 and 2. The submittal is a response to the letter of Mr. Daniel R. Muller, Assistant Director for Environmental Projects, Directorate of Licensing, to the Applicant dated May 13, 1972.

The Amendment contains responses to the list of questions in the sequence given in Mr. Muller's letter, and the entire Amendment should be in-serted at the end of the Environmental Report binder.
