Rules of Practice, Florida Power & Light Company, the Appli-( cant herein, propounds the following Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents to Intervenors Florida Cities. Each interrogatory chould be answered separately and fully in writing under oath or affirmation by the person or persons making them, and each document requested should be produced, as promptly as possible, but in any event within the time prescribed in 10 CFR 52.741(d) , or such other time as may be fixed by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board. g, Definitions As used herein the terms listed below are, unless other-
, wise specifically indicated, intended to have the following meanings:
- 1. " Antitrust laws" refers to all of the laws enumerated
_ in 5105 of the Atomic Energy Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 52135.
- 2. " Applicant" refers to Florida Power & Light Company ;

- 3. " City" or " Cities" refers to each and every of the i e-entities listed in the Joint Petition (including
_ the Florida Municipal Utilities Association, "FMUA") l including in each instance, all officials, officers, employees, i attorneys, contractors, agents, representatives and consultants of such entity. In each instance where an entity is identified as c " commission" or " authority" of a county or municipality,
" city" includes all other commissions, authorities, agencies and departments of such county or municipality, such as, by - N.
(~ way of example and not limitation, the city commission and goverment of a municipality represented herein by a utility authority or commissien.
- 4. " Customer" refers to any person or entity receiving j , electric service from the Cities (including any department, unit, agency or other division of the municipality and the municipality l itself) or any other utility.
- 5. "Date" refers to the exact day, month and year, if known, or, if not known, the best approximation thereof. Exact dates

shall be given in all answers except where it is explicitly indicated that an approximate date will suffice.
- 6. " Documents" refers to all writings and records of every type in the positien, control or custody of the Cities, including but not limited to memoranda, correspondence, reports (including drafts, preliminary, intermediate and final reports), surveys, studies (including, but not limited to, load flow, engineering, L general economics and market studies), comparisons, tabulations, ,

- of its meaning, every natural person, corporate entity, partner-ship, association, joint venture, cooperative, municipality, ~
commission, governmental body, or agency.
- 14. The word " policy" means each rule, procedure or directive, formal or informal, written or unwritten, and each common understanding or course of conduct which was recognized
- as such by your present and former officers, agents, employees r[s_
i or other persons acting or purporting to act on your behalf, which was in effect at any time during the relevant period.
- 15. " System" or "the system" (used interchangeably with " City")
means the entity to which these discovery requests are directed. General Instructions
