Dear Mr. Haynes:

SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS.'l AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 ERRATA SHEET FOR ANNUAL EXPOSURE VS. JOB FUNCTIONS REPORT Enclosed are revised tabulations of the personnel exposure report for 1981.

We have discovered an error in the logic of the computer code whlch sorts personnel' dose categories for "the total personnel exceeding 100 millirem" exposure.

It should be noted that the grand total of personnel " exceeding 100 millirem" for each work function (e.g., routine maintenance vs. special maintenance) on our original submittal was correct.

However, the number of individuals in per-sonnel categories within each function category were not necessarily correct.

For example, under waste processing a total of 15 person-nel were shown to have exposures exceeding 100 millirem on our pre-vious (January 21, 1982) transmittal.

This grand total for waste processing _is correct.

However, instead of recording the correct number of station maintenance personnel as "5",

the report showed 4 individuals, similarly only 2 contract personnel exceeded 100 millirem as opposed to the reported 3 individuals.

This logic problem in our code has been corrected.

The enclosed

data sheet lists the proper breakdown of exposures exceeding 100 millirem.

- This data is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.5 of Salem Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Technical Specifications.

Please note that exposure is given in man-millirem.
