Subject: Report Nos. 50-369/82-17 and 50-370/82-12
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr
P. Bemis of this
of fice on April 17' - May 15,1982, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
License No. NPF-9 and Construction Permit No. CPPR-84 for the McGuire 1 and 2
facility. Our preliminary findings were discussed with Mr. M. McIntosh, Station
Manager, at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspection report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
During the inspection, it was found that certain activities under your license
appear to violate NRC requirements.
This item and references to pertinent
requirements are listed in the Notice of Violation enclosed herewith as
Appendix A.
Elements to be included in your response are delineated in
Appendix A.
