PERDIEMRATEFORMEDICALCONSb1TANTS Reference is made to the Standard Forms 52 and NRC Forms 448 extending contracts to P.egion III medical consultants submitted to you on December 9, 1982, and to our telephone conversation on January 19.
Dr. Saenger has informed us that he is most distressed at the rate of ecupensation stated in his contract for consulting services for the NRC.
Dr. Saenger has been an AEC/NRC consultant for a number of years and we have been very satisfied with his services. We request, therefore, that Drs. Saenger, Thoma and Tho=adsen be authorized the maximum rate.>r NRC consultants of $245.36 per day. Modified SF-52's indicating the maximum per dien are attached.
