Dear Dr. Saenger:

The Nuclear Regulatory Connission (NRC) wishes to continue utilizing your services from July 1,1979 to June 30, 1980. These services will include:

(1) furnishing medical advice pertaining to possible radiation ' effects upon NRC licensees, their employees, or members of the public; (2) furnishing testimony at inquiries or hearings as a medical expert; and (3) participating in selected conferences on the effects of radiation and radioactive materials upon human beings.

NRC regulation requires current information regarding non-Federal employment and Federal retainer / contracts for employment of consultants.

Enclosed are two copies of HRC Form 443 " Background Statement and Confidential Statement of Employment and Financial Interests." Please complete and return one copy of this form to me by May 7.

In Item 16

= of this form, the NRC's General Counsel has ruled that consultants /ad-visers need not list financial interests less than $7,500 in value.

Also, please answer each line item completely without referring to previou,s year statements.

Remuneration during this forthcoming 12 month period has been established at $160 per day plus expenses associated with telephone, postage, copying, and travel. Travel expenses include hotel and meals (per diem), and normal ground and air transportation.

The availability of your services to the Nuclear Regulatoiy Commission has been and continues to be appreciated.
