This letter is in response to a verbal commitment made by TVA in the TVA/NRC meeting on control room habitability, which was held in White Flint, Maryland on August 1, 1990. During this meeting, TVA committed to docket the calculations which were performed to support TVA's May 31, 1990 s ubmi t tal '.

These calculations are provided as Enclosures 1 and 2.

Futitre revisions to these calculations, if required, will be available at the BFN site for Staff review.

4 It is TVA's understandin6 that submittal of these calculations completes TVA's actions which were requested in the Staff's October 21, 1988 Safety Evaluation and in the December 19, 1989 request for additional information. TVA requests the issuance of a Supplemental Safety Evaluation Report to document the closure of this issue.
