Dear Mr. Denton:

A proposed amendment to Section 6.2 of the McGuire Unit 1 Technical Specifications is attached. The amendment is submitted to revise the descriptions of the offsite organization and the station organization. As a result of changes to the station organization, the Operations Superintendent will not be required to maintain the i

SRO license after appointment to his position.

Attachment I contains the proposed amendment and littachment 2 provides a discussion of the amendment. A check for $1,200 is enclosed for this proposed Class II license amendment.

McGuire Nuclear Station Docket No. 50-369 Oconee Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-269, -270, -287

Dear Sir:

On July 30, 1982 Duke Power Company submitted a proposed amendment to Section 6.2 of the McGuire Nuclear Station Unit 1 Technical Specifications concerning revised descriptions of the offsite organization and the station organization; on July 30, 1982 Duke Power also submitted a proposed amendment to Specifica-tions 6.0 through 6.3 of the Oconee Nuclear Station Technical Specifications:

concerning the Duke Power Company reorganization.

The proposed revisions are considered to be a Class II amendment for McGuire and Class I and Class II amendments for Oconee. Therefore, pursuant to 10 CFR 170 5170.12 the amount of $3200 for both submittals is applicable.

Please find enclosed these submittals and a check for the stated amount to cover these submittals.
