Subject:
Thank you for your letter of June 22 and June 17, 1982, informing us of
steps you have taken to correct the violations and deviation concerning
activities under NRC Operating License Nos. DPR-57 and NPR-5 brought to
your attention in our letter of May 18, 1982.
With regard to your June 17, 1932 response concerning the Notice of
Deviation, the NRC agrees with your position that Georgia Power did not
deviate from your safety commitments to the Comission and our records
will be corrected. Your corrective actions taken in response to the
deviation appear to address our concern with the issue.
We will examine your corrective actions and plans during subsequent
inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation with us.
