Dear Mr. Denton:
In response to questions from members of the NRC staff, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) hereby provides information relating to the completion of the Technical Support Center (TSC), the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) and the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) for the Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station.
The TSC computer system incorporates the SPDS and the instrumentation displays for both the TSC and EOF.
This computer system and the associated facilities will be complete by April 1, 1983.
The integration of these systems and facilities with other requirements for emergency response capability will be addressed as a part of an everall plan and schedule after issuance of appropriate NRC guidance (i.e CRGR/SECY 82-111).
