DAVIS-BESSE - INSERVICE TESTING PROGRAM AN0MALY NO. 8 (TAC NO. M86158)
By letter dated April 8,1993, you submitted a response to Anomaly No. 8 identified in the NRC staff's safety evaluation dated December 2,1991, regarding your Inservice Testing (IST) Program. The anomaly concerned your request for relief from measuring stroke times for auxiliary feedwater valves AF-6451 and 6452.
The NRC staff has completed review of your submittal and finds that the changes to the IST Program described in the submittal meet the intent of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI requirements, and are acceptable. Our safety evaluation is enclosed.
