Dear John:
Thank you for your letter of February 26, 1982.
My wife and I l
look forward to being with you in Charleston in late March.
I I appreciate your giving me the benefit of your proposed format for Monday morning the 28th.
I would like to point out, how-ever, that the last time I gave a speech i.t was my high school commence:nent, and I do not believe it is possible that my speech will last 30 minutes.
I think it would be more on the order of five to ten minutes.
So you should bear that in mind when you plan your schedule.
I hope that this will not create any problem i
for you.
As you requested, I am sending you a brief biography, and note that I do not need any projection and sound equipment.
I Sincerely, Encl osu re' i
