REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OYSTER CREEK MONITORING OF ELECTRIC POWER TO THE REACTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM REF. 1: GPU letter (P. B. Fiedler) to NRC (D. M. Crutchfield), dated April 29,1982 The following information which was not provided in Ref.1 is required to complete this issue:

(1) Submit the undervoltage, overvoltage and underfrequency setpoints, with time delays, if any, for the Electrical Protection Assemblies (EPAs).

Define the nominal voltage and frequency (+ toleiances) at the sensing packages from which the setpoir.ts were selected.

(2) Verify that the design modifications / installation will meet the requirements of GDC-2, GDC-21, and IEEE 279-1971.

(3)

Confirm that selected EPA setpoints with time delays are based on the measured tenninal voltages on the RPS components including scram pilot solenoid valves and will ensure rated voltage and frequency on the terminals of each of these components.
