Subject: Management Meeting 50-219/82-13
This refers to the meeting held on May 4,1982, in the USNRC Region I Office, King
of Prussia, Pennsylvania, to discuss the NRC findings and concerns involving recent
activities associated with maintenance, modification, testing, and surveillance of
safety related systems. The meeting was attended by the Regional Administrator,
members of 'he NRC regional office, a representative of the Office of Inspection and
Enforcement, and by yourself and members of your staff. The inspection items dis-
cussed and the meeting results are described in the NRC Region I Meeting Report which
is enclosed with this letter.
Enforcement action regarding the events discussed will
be forwarded by separate correspondence.
In accordance with 10CFR2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be
placed in the NRC Public Document Room unless you notify this office, by telephone,
within 10 days of the date of this letter and submit written application to withhold
information contained therein within 30 days of the date of this letter. Such appli-
cation must be consistent with the requirements of 10CFR2.790(b)(1).
