DEGRADATION OF THERMAL SLEEVES - TROJAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT This refers to the discussion by telephone today between Mr. J. L. Crews of this office and Mr. B. D. Withers, relating to recent evidence of the degradation of thermal sleeve components in the reactor coolant system of the Trojan plant.
Based upon this discussion, it is our understanding that you will not resume power operation of the Trojan plant until this matter is resolved to the satisfaction of the 'iRC staff.
If the understanding stated above is not correct, you should contact this office promptly.
