SUBJECT:
STEN 0 GRAPHIC REPORTING SERVICES In accordance with your October 29,-1981 request, the following information was acquired as a result of a recent Market Survey conducted by my staff.
Thirteen' local firms capable of providing the subject services were contacted cr. asked to provide ~ their current size in relation to government contracting.
Ten firms informed us they were in. fact small business and the remaining three~1arge. The incumbent contractor, Alderson Reporting, Inc., was' a small business when the current contract was awarded, but is
~
now large.
~
Based on these results, I believe a small business set aside is certainly worth considering for the new solicitation and recommend its implementation.
