APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Georgia Power Company Docket Nos. 50-321 & 50-366 Hatch 1 and 2 License Nos. DPR-57 & NPF-5 As a result of the inspection conducted on March 29 - April 2, 1982, in accord-ance with the NRC Enforcement Policy, 47 FR 9987 (March 9,1982), the following violation was identified.
Technical Specification 6.8.1 requires that written procedures be estab-lished, implemented and maintained covering the applicable procedures recommended in Appendix "A" of Regulatory Guide 1.33.

states in part that radiation protection procedures should be provided. Procedure HNP-8005, Revision 12,Section I, Radiation Occurrence Reports, paragraph 1.(b)(2) requires action to be taken to ensure the reported event does not recur.
Contrary to the above, radiation protection procedures were not established, implemented and maintained in that the action designated to correct misuse of personnel dosimetry by an individual on November 3,1981, was not per-formed.
Specifically, the prescribed notification of all employees on Occurrence Report 81-19A was not performed.
This is a Severity Level V Violation (Supplement IV).
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, you are hereby required to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including: (1) admission or denial of the alleged viola-tion; (2) the reasons for the violation if admitted; (3) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (4) corrective steps which wi',1 be taken to avoid further violations; and (5) the date when full compliance will be achieved. Consideration may be given to extending your response time for good cause shown.
