The General Electric High Pressure Core Spray (HPCS) Diesel Generator Prototype Qualification Test Program is herewith transmitted for f;RC review.

l This test program has been developed in order to de o. strate the performance of the diesel generator po.ver supply for the HPCS system which will be uttilzed in many B',R/5 and EWR/6 plants.

As noted in the referenced letter, the NRC requires that these tests be perfor ed prior to utilizing the GE HPCS system po.ser supply unit in any nuclear po er plant.
