This letter confirms our recent discussions on the subject.

Since you will be representing the State and the health, safety and welfare of its residents in this NRC licensing procedure, I recognize that my application for intervenor status is redundant.

By copy of this letter, I an also informing the NRC of my decis-ion to withdraw my earlier request for intervenor status.

Since House Concurrent Resolution No. 6 was embodied in House Joint Resolution No. 2, establishing our , state policy on energy, I know that our goals and objectives are essentially identical; therefore, I will be pleased to assist you in your responsibili-ties in this activity.
